I'm planning on setting up some pairs of ODNO bulbs for lighting in my new tank. They have endcaps @ home depot, but is this safe enough to use for an aquarium? The tank will have a glass canopy on it for a 75 gallon FW aquarium.
If there are water-resistant endcaps available where do you get it? I'd prefer a T12 size and get an adapter for T8 (or T5???) Thanks in advance |

I don't think there is a problem if you have a glass canopy. Look at the Allglass fl. fixture. It's endcaps are not exactly water proof. It doesn't have a cover either and they ask people to use glass canopy to protect it.
Coralife has the waterproof endcaps but quite pricey. Petwarehouse carries them (T8 and T12). |

Agreed, if you use a glass canopy, you can use the cheap endcaps from Home Depot with no problems.
