ok is a colour rendering of 82 good for photosynthisis? in plants?
should i be looking out for red or blue output?, ive found some 20w 6500k bulbs, i know the k dont really matter but a colour scale next to the pic shows only blue and green gradient. no reds present according to the graph.. so will the colour rendering be good or swish...

thanks

Colour rendering has nothing to do with Photosythensis. Colour rendering is simply how acurately the bulb reproduces colour visually.

You want to find bulbs that are high in the blue and red

Here is a good example.. this is Hagens Aqua Glow Bulb. I use these quite a bit.

I also use these bulbs from hagen (Power Glo).

i cant remember the brand, ill edit this message when i find em again. thanks G, by the looks of things the powerglo's are just peaking in the blue and green the same as the bulbs im mentioning. this is very good because all ihave to do is buy some beyonnet fittings and boom im on my way to having even more light power mwuahhaha.

am i right in saying the yellow isnt really needed for growing. the aquaglo's dont go near it so i guess there ok. if you can let me know tho and ill order a pair

I think it would be good for plants. I had a 6500k daylight bulb and it produces a very white colored light.
