I agree. Most sequels dont out do their initial magic of exposing us to a newly re-visioned world. The unboxing effect wears off i guess. That said, I am a fan of Cumberbatch from his incredible performance in Sherlock BBC. I know its not a movie, but each episode is equivalent in length. I give the series a 9.5/10.

The last movie i watched was Odd Thomas, a movie remake of Dean Koontz book of the same name, i would give it a solid 9/10, very unexpected twist.

Yeahhh, he is a really good actor. He was actually one of the few things I enjoyed about the movie.

Last movie I watched was the original Robocop. Didn't seem like it was quite as good as when I first watched it, but I'd still give it a 7/10

Yeah, that movie doesn't look good at all. Haven't seen the first one, nor will I see the sequel.

Only Lovers Left Alive - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1714915/

Stylistically it was great, uninteresting story in general though. 5.5/10

The 2013 movie? I was pleasantly surprised. Went in not expecting much, came out highly entertained.
