Hey All,
Finally all the algea mass cleared up and my plants start to grow very nice! You can read how it was in this thread:
http://www.plantedtank.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4638
I've borrowed a camera which colorbalance is not very good. The greenish look is dued to the old MH lamps.

- the total picture-

- once again -

These pictures shows how KNO3 can change your growth/algea problems!!!

That's an awesome tank I wish I could make mine dense like yours. Also, nice woods arrangements.

Awesome tank, I like how you have rocks and wood in there. I can't combine the two and have it look natural.

Thanks ! It is indeed difficult to create a natural look with wood + rock. Just keep on experimenting...

That is definitely an awesome tank!

Where did you finally find KNO3 here in Europe?

thnx! I've found it after a long search, in a company which supplies schools (chemical experiments you know...). It is very difficult to find it in pharmatic stores, where you could buy it a few years ago...

What else can I say? What an incredible tank. The layering...the natural look....stunning. Do you have any photos of when you set it up. It helps to inspire me when I can see how modest these beautiful tanks started out .

Thanks for all the kind words! Unfortunately i ain't got no photos of my tank during setup. When i started up my tank, i got all the considerable problems on what people can have on their tanks. You can read my algea fight in this thread: http://www.plantedtank.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4638 So maybe you don't WANT to see this tank's history

Whoa Ho! That was just two months ago!?! Your hairgrass looked all but cashed, and now it's beautiful.

Very humbling, indeed. I think I'll stop worrying about the little bit of staghorn algae in my new tank .
