Hi All,
I saw this system on Big Als. It's a solid carbon system called "Aquarium Products Carbo-Plus Co2 System". Has anyone used this before? comments? Reviews?

  • 45 gal, not setup yet.
  • Will be a planted tank.
  • Still in research/equipment purchasing stage.

I think I posted the same question before in another forum when I just started planting. You can check the comments here :

During my infancy of investigation for my planted tank (3 months ago ), I was tempted by this unit. Having never used it, I can't speak for it's performance. What I do know is that I was able to assemble a pressurized CO2 system for the same cost. Additionally, I have no added equipment cluttering up my tank (since I've made a DIY in-line reactor) and CO2 refills are much cheaper ($7) than replacement carbon blocks ($35).

Just use the search function and enter "Carbo-Plus" - you'll get all the answers you need. (Most will be along the lines of "Don't bother, use DIY or pressurized").

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
