Plant ID help


Ok so i was just at the pet store and i saw a rather interesting bulb; it is sort of purple now and the leaves have holes through them and look like lace any idea. sorry i don't have a camera so no photos.

It was purple? I know the apon. mad. has holes and is sometime known as a lace plant

the leaves do look like that and it does fit the description but my plant does have purple leaves. I don't know if this is permanent though and it could be because of the conditions is was in

On second look they appear dark purple almost black
