RAOK CBS from Chikorita- 5g 1920s metal frame tank

Won an RAOK from the very generous Chikorita. I think its the first time in over 30 years I have won ANYTHING.

I had picked up a pair of old 1920s hand forged metal framed tanks. Been wanting to do something neat with them. Caribsea had sent me a bunch of substrates for me to test so I used some of that, some of the manzanita I have laying around and some low light plants to set this up.

Tank:

Critters: 10 CBS, 4 CRS, a batik nerite and a zebra nerite (who will be moving out) as well as a trio of microcrabs.

Very nice! That's awesome that you won the RAOK. Thanks for posting the pictures of the shrimp, I am buying some CBS from her, and now I know what her stock looks like! Looks like S+ and SS grades, very nice. Good luck with them!

yea, I dropped an old corner filter in, for now. I am always on thelook out for metal tanks. I have about 30 that I have collected at this point, from metal framed dip and pour up to 60 breeder sized.

its not in its permanent home yet, lol, hence the awkward placement.

I am in the process of shuffling 3 racks of tanks, so I just stuck it there.
