Hello from California!

Hey y'all just wanna say hi from Ventura California, been into the hobby for a while. Just didn't realize that there were groups on line for this addiction till a few months ago hahaha jk. Right now I have 10 tanks running and one underway to completion, it's gonna be my buce collection tank. I also belong to a local aquatic plant enthusiast here in Southern California. They're a wonderful and very helpful group. Hope to be able to contribute here in the forum and get help as well when needed. I didn't realize I signed up with TPT since 2007 I just wasn't active in the forum. Cheers!

Thanks liljaime, ain't you glad someone's much crazier than you when it comes to tanks lol. I got 3 -10g shrimp tanks, one CRS Colony, one Blue Diamond currently got 2 berried females after 2 months of waiting, one RCS tank nothin to brag about... I get eggs but no babies had this for a year now but still no luck. The fourth 10g is a grow tank with a moss wall.

2-5g planted, with one betta each.

46 bow community tank, EBRs, and purple harlequin rasboras, long-finned panda cory, Cory hasbrosus, blueberry corys, ember tetras, cardinals and neons.

75g has about 75 cardinal tetras, a dozen Pygmy corys and hillstream loaches.

2g betta tank with marimo balls

3.5g betta with java ferns windelov and regular

I'll take a pic later, never used alder cones before, by I am on the lookout for them, I heard they also have antibacterial properties beneficial for shrimps. The BD have dropped the babies, I saw ONE two nights ago and I can't see em anymore after that, they are waaay to small at the moment. Although, I have three berried BD's as of last night.

Hey guys thanks for the warm welcome! Have you guys heard of SCAPE - Southern California Aquatic Plants Enthusiasts ? I'm actually a member we meet once a month, have auctions of rare and common plants, shrimps, fish and equipments. And LOTS of very helpful information. You guys should check it out. It's geared towards aquarists here in Southern California, so we share a lot of things in common like water parameters, temperature and LFS.
