Help on Aquascaping TECHNIQUES to making hills

Hi i would like to ask Planted tank Guru's on how to create hills for planted tank.
I can use fully ADA Aquasoil to create the hills but it would cost me a bomb & over time the rocks will sag down.
Please tell me the way thank you

I usually either use big rocks or fill pantyhose(tights) with either sand or pebbles to create hills. When I use the pantyhose method, just tie one end up, fill it with your rocks or sand then tie the other end up. Leave some room so the sand or rocks can adjust to the shape you want. I make many small units so I can add or take away as needed.

shows us some pics of scapes with hills you like. 'hills' may mean difference things to different people. i think of rocky crests, but thats just me.

you could have dead flat soil and plant rotala sp. green or hm. then trim it into wavy hills.

anything can be created in an aquarium. just dream of it and make it happen.

tights are great. they hold the soil in place so height can be achieved. i have stacked soil filled tights 1f high with rocks leaning against them and on top of them. loose soil on top of the tights, then plant.

Most people make hill/mountainscapes by using stones as a base and filling the Aquasoil around it.
