AH Supply bulbs
Have any of you had AH supply bulbs burn out on you yet?
About how long did that take? One of my 36W bulbs burnt out and it's only been less than a year

Just installed my kit.
One bulb would not go in the socket and I ended up cracking it trying to get it in.Other bulbs fit fine so it was not the socket. Another bulb blew after about 45 minutes of runtime. Waiting to here from AHSupply. Hopefully they are warrantied. |

My ah supply bulbs never burned out. I just replaced them after 1 1/2 yrs or so, b/c I wanted a different temp bulb.

MY AH bulbs have performed flawlessly. I replace them annually, and keep the old ones as spares until the next replacement. They're really good about customer relations, so hopefully your blown bulb issues will be resolved quickly.

Hmm, I'm wondering if they'd replace a bulb that burnt out in ~10 months.
I'll give them a call and see what happens. |

I had a bulb problem when I bought my sets (They sent the wrong color). They were great in resolving the problem. IMO, GREAT costomer service!

They are sending me the two replacement bulbs no charge. I agree, excellent customer service!

My 36 watt bulb blew the other day, it was only about 8 months old.

What are the difference between their bulbs and say like a coral life one. I didn't buy theirs cause it would've cost another $16 extra just to ship it, so I just decided to buy my LFS bulbs. Bad move?

Nope, not a bad move. The ESU bulbs are just fine. I've used the ESU 6700k, 10,000k, and 50/50 bulbs over my plant tanks in the past and never had any complaints.
