flourite red

I have flourite red in my 110 gallon tank, and it matches the red theme of my rocks and such, but the water is pretty cloudy, is there anything that will help that? was flourite red a bad choice?

Terri,

I have the same substrate, It will take time to clear.... Best bet will be to change Your filter mech. elements and maybe put a polishing pad in as well and it will clear up nicely...notice my substrate...
I mixed mine with existing gravel. took awhile and was really suprised at the filter media how loaded it was so quickly. Hope this helps... How is your drop checker comming along?

I dont know, it says im fine, but when I checked my c02 chart on the website (chuck's) it says im in the yellow zone, while the drop checker says im green. Is the only point of the drop checker to tell the ph? cuz I got a ph regulator attacked to my regulator so that it turns off when it gets to high, you knwo, at night
