We seem to be pretty spread out... I'm in Holliston, MA. Weel, actually, RIGHT NOW, I'm sitting in the airport on my way to the AGA convention!!!

When I get home, I'm hoping we can get an informal planted aquaruim group going in our area. Maybe we can meet up every month or two on a weekend, when people might have the time to travel a bit farther than on a week night.

There is a new store opening in Natick that will be specializing in planted aquaria, and the owner contacted me. He is interested in working with us, and possibly hosting meetings at his store.

Krandall, what is that store in Natick called and when will it be opened? That will be the second closest LFS to me and the only one that specializes in planted aquaria. Please let me know!

In Cambridge, mostly interested in freshwater crustaceans and mollusks, aquatic ferns, mosses, riparium systems.

So I found out the info on the new store. The website is www.aquaful.com

I emailed the owner and here is what he told me:

The hours are still TBD/by appointment because the livestock tanks are still being drilled. I had a bit of a shipment delay on top of shipping damage! Outside of livestock, I do have a few Mr. Aqua tanks in varying shapes, including the very popular 12 gallon 3’ long shallow and narrow tank, a low iron cube, a low iron rectangular cube, as well as their latest offering a 4’x1.5’.1.5’ rimless tank. I also have Deep Blue 12” cube setups with light and power filter which make for great QT tanks or even just a nano setup.
I’m going to be putting my inventory of both livestock and dry goods online in the coming weeks so you’ll be able to see that I have and for livestock, how long I’ve had them on board. I will not be like other shops who sell the livestock the day after they get it, unless the customer acknowledges that I haven’t had it for at least two weeks.

Once I find out that the store officially opens, I will post here again and let you people know!

I wouldn't mind going up there with some of the members of the New Jersey Aquatic Gardeners Club. Maybe we will make it a road trip some time.
