Glosso help, edges of leaves turning brown & dying (Pic)

Hi all,
I need help with my glosso (pic below), it's been 5 weeks, they were doing fine until a few days ago. Now they are dying with browning on the edges of the leaves. Tank is about 7.5 gallon, light is 10wpg (I know it's high). CO2 is injection at 2bps. Photoperiod 6 hours (reduced due to green dust algae).

Here is a little about the water chemistry:
KH was 5ppm(2.8dKH), now 8ppm(4.5dKH) after baking soda.
PH 6.8
Amonia 0.5
W/C 10%-40% every 3-4 days
Substrate: ADA Aquasoil, Powersand.

No fauna yet.

I increased the KH this morning when I noticed my glosso dying with some baking soda, and now it's around 8ppm.
Dosing is Seachem Excel, ADA products, Brighty K and Step 1. Which contains some trace elements and iron plus potassium I believe.

I'm just out of ideas for now. Is it the green dust algae's fault? Or is the lighting too high? Should I introduce some fish? I have been playing with the water chemistry ever since I started. It's seems to be hit or miss, and I'm getting tired...

(meanwhile my wife's low-tech nano is thriving with only liquid CO2 ..... )
