Valiko, you will probably have to clean the prefilter very frequently, though. I personally wouldn't bother with a prefilter and would just open up the canister every two months or so. It doesn't take a whole lot of time to clean.

hmm.. but Eheim 2026 is rated at 251 US gal/hr, same as Filstar XP1.

But I would think that they use different techniques for measuring up performace, it could pump performance, it could be loaded filter performance, who knows.
