A few free plants

I've got a tank full and I'm losing some motivation to do things. Anybody in the area that might like some swords or red tiger lotus, give me a PM and we can get together. Any algae or snails are buyer beware!
I'm in the south end of Pflugerville near Dessau and Wells Branch.

Sorry, not interested in shipping. I'm more looking for people to come by and see what they might like and then pull it. That way I'm relieved of all need to correctly ID them or tell what condition they are in at the time. When plants or fish are happy they breed! This was meant as a growout but got way out of control.

Okay. Time for a final report. It has been confirmed! People in Austin ARE wired.
I had several commitments for plants but nobody showed up to pick them for free so I sold them on Craigslist.
More money than manners?

Sorry thats how it ended that way, but you sound like you came out on top making money. Think thats just how it is now a days, where people expect something for nothing and you to go that extra mile to make it easier. It was a great gesture to try and help someone else out though.

I mostly threw them in as "value added" on other things I was selling. I got something like $28 out of a weekend of work!
Some people were very happy while others thought maybe I should give them all the plants, even out of my display tank.
I think I may go see if I can get a job as a Wal-mart greeter. They get paid better and likely get more respect!

Man, too bad I wasn't checking earlier...

If you take plants into Aquatek they'll give you store credit and have given me more than I expected for stuff there in the past.

Craigslist people get really weird if you give something away for free. I had a lady who wanted come Java moss I was giving out, but only if I put it in a bowl out on the porch at a scheduled time so she should get it without speaking to anyone.

Nice to hear that I'm not the only one who attracts oddball behavior!
I've just got to keep in mind we might all be weird when looking from their side of the fence.
