18" wont extend far enough to fit on a 20" tank rim. The option will be to either get a versa top to seat the 18" on, or consider the 24" fixture.

The 18" MIGHT extend far enough, I have a 12" fugeray and it extends to slightly over 14". The Ray2 appears to use the same mounts. If the 18" ends up not extending far enough you could make your own mounts out of thin gauge wire (like the mounts on a marineland led) as the factory mounts slide into a circular recess in the metal body of the light. A few people on here have also hung the fugeray and ray2 by running thin wire through these recesses and running them up to a shelf support.

Security Question
While balancing on a piece of wood, two inches by four inches known as a 2x4, John and his friend Sally both spotted a dalmatian inside of a truck with sirens. The animal with John and Sally is a _ _ _?
