25g iwagumi


Here's my most recent attempt at a dry start iwagumi.

Tank size - 60cm X 40cm X 40cm (23.6"x15.7"x15.7")
Glass thickness - 8mm
Volume - 25 Gallons

CO2 system - Pressurized, GLA cornelius single stage regulator w/ 10lbs tank, DC SS diffuser
Lighting - 4x 24w T5HO tek
Filtration - 2213 eheim
UV sterilizer - 10w inline aquatop
Heaters - 50w eheim jäger

Substrate - mix of fluorite black sand and red
Stone - 7x seiryu of varying sizes

Fauna - ~ 15 boraras brigittae & 14 boraras merah
Flora - hemianthus callitrichoides, hemianthus micranthemoides, riccia fluitans, e. parvula

Thanks, yes, that's a stainless steel co2 diffuser. Love it, it's easy to clean and virtually unbreakable.

Here's a shot of the HM hedge from above during a WC. It's one of my favorite plants.

Just a warning, but the boraras WILL hybridize if either of them try to breed in there. The last thing the hobby needs is more hybrid fish to reduce the quantity of pure stocks in the hobby...

Other than that, though, lovely tank!
