Want to Make Some Contacts
I maybe moving to Carefree in a few months, and I want to go ahead and make some contacts in the nearby area. Any good stores? How far is Tempe from Carefree? Any good aquarium clubs? Planted tank clubs?

Google is the remedy for stupidity. It's not the size of the tank, but how you use it. ![]() |

I'm not in that area, but further north in Kingman. It's about 3-4 hours from Phoenix. There's only Petco and Walmart plus one pet store that has a few fish here. Not much selection, especially for plants. I don't know about further south. There is a club, but their meetings are always several hours' drive from me so I have not been to one.

carefree is about 35-40 miles away from tempe. haven't really seen any shops out there except for the big chains. what are you looking for? i travel around, your best bet would be north side of phoenix.
