My tank is 5.5 gallons and only have dwarf baby tears and planning to make a carpet. Should I replace my ray2 for planted +?
Hehe Fudge Rays lol. I couldn't help it! I had to respond.

i know this is the LED Light I've been waiting for so
put my name on a 30". I'll stop by your Aquatic Experience booth
to pick it up. Once you have the pricing, I'll prepay via PayPal.

I just finished my 56c riparium, this will be the perfect light for it.

Lowes, will you be able to make a list of people for pre order ( deposit down) and request the company a discount for the total pre order $$?

At this point, I'd just be happy with a pre-order.

I was originally looking for a Planted+ for my new 2.5g, but the Current on my 29G is down to it's last two bulbs and it's a crapshoot to determine whether they'll last long enough for me to replace it with a Planted+

Ugh can't wait for the light! I'm buying my first house and waiting to set up my 55 till I move and I can't wait for this light to come out. I was going to get a current sat + but the par isn't as high as this light should be.

Any par info on a standard 55 gallon with 2-3" of eco-complete?

Think 2 24" lights would be better or a 48" ?

Should I wait for the new fugeray or go with the original. Im setting up a 20long tank. Probably gonna go high tech on this one.

a 20 long is 30" long and 12 " high I think, ANY of the Ray's (Ray2, Fugeray, Planted Plus) are going over 70 PAR unless you raise them - so you will need high tech no matter which one you chose (in my opinion, but I could be speaking directly out of my rear end too)

Im reading alot that the lights would need to be raised, and definetly not a problem. I was going to use hairgrass for carpet, and some for background. Also staurogyne repens, oval ludwigia, lizards tail, eriocaulon parkeri, marsilea, and crypt.

Im using a T5dual odyssea on a 40b, and it puts out a good amount of light. With my 20L I want to go high tech, and led. Finnex fugeray seems like a good choice. Just wanting to make an informed decision.

I can't wait for this light to come out so I can add more plants! My tank look so bare with the stock lighting and it's driving me crazy!

Really Stoked for the Planted+

Put me down on the Pre-Pay list if it gets started...

30" needed here.

Question

Will the new series by dimmable? I would love to use the + on my 20long and raising the light is impractical given the tanks location in my house.
