FX6 Cansister Filter Cleaning

I had added some T-Shirt cotton as additional filter material to try and clear the tank after the initial fill with new substrate. This about six weeks ago. Turns out that this was not a great idea. I had the cotton in the bottom basket on top of the synth glass material. The cotton was disintegrated and matted restricting flow a great deal.

I cleaned the reticulated foam in tank water, did not do anything with the bio beads other than kept them in tank water for the process, and replaced the synth glass filter material. Flow back to normal now.
