I have a 26 gallon established aquarium and I was having a brown algae problem and now im having a green algae problem. Are here any factors to promote algae frowth and wha is the best way to stop it?

All I can say is read any thread that says "Algae" and you will see some very common mistakes in "balance "

Lights,nutrients,water changes
