Multiple plants in a single riparium planter

Any issue with doing this? e.g. putting cyperus and bacopa in the same planter (with the bacopa extending out over a trellis raft)?

I hada crypt wendtii share a pot with brazilian sword. The brazilian sword won the battle. It'll be fine for short term but I think one of your plants will eventually outcompete/look better than the other.
