Hair Algae, Cherry Shrimp

Hello everybody. I have a really nice taiwan moss wall that is starting to fill out in my 20 gallon dwarf puffer tank. Recently I have had an outbreak of hair algae. Its on some of the plants and has smothered out some of my other moss. I haven't noticed any on the moss wall yet so I was thinking of moving it into my 10 gallon shrimp tank. Will this spread algae into the shrimp tank? Or will the 30+ cherry shrimp in there keep it in check? I have a bunch of other mosses in there and I dont want them to get algae.
