Hmpk x hmpk spawned 8/30/2013 - Update 12/27

I brought a pair of bettas from an awesome fellow tpter, and spawned them in 8/30. They have since hatched and has been eating like champs! =)!

I counted over 80+ fry before i gave up, so there is probably over 100 fry in there =).

I have been feeding them a mix of bbs, banana worms and microworms. Heres some pictures of the frys i took today =) they are 19 days old! =)!

Hey guys! my frys are 24 days old! They are living on all bbs right now, but i am trying to train them to eat some dry food. Hopefully it'll work. Then I can move them to their grow out and feed dry food+ frozen blood worms when they are bigger.

Here's some bad pictures lol..

Very nice! Have you tried feeding them microworms? It's an easy to culture live food that most fry and micropredators adore. =D

They are 37 days old now! =) All of them are starting to color up, most of them are blueish, a few are green, some are peachy. It looks like some of them will have a bit of red on them. About 1/3 of them has started developing the lace coloring daddy has, so we might get some mustards!

Baby stress lines are here =D! (they are not stessed, they just have it when they are babies, lol)

Here's a Peachy one with his lace developing.

here's a blurry blue one.

Here's the one and only white one. She's so pearly white, i can spot her right away. Its almost as if she glows O.o I have named "her" Daenerys, lol =D. We'll change the name if she turns out to be a boy.

Heres the one and only black one. I have names "him" Tyrion, cause he's the black sheep and hates my phone and refuse to let me take a picture of him. (name might also change if he turns out to be a girl)

Those two are the only ones i can really recognize. =) I hope it stays that way or else i will name more and more of them and then keep them all! =(

Oh gosh soooooo cute! Glad they're continuing to grow well for ya!

Gotta say, huge fan of the names... GOT's all the way :P

Aboslutley on the edge of my seat to see how the rest of the colors come in, especially on the peach & white ones!

I am really curious as to what the babies color ends up being. How soon did you take the dad away?

Me too, i think i will have some laced some marbled, some solids. Oddly i noticed some red in a few fry. Didn't know i had red in my fish's genes, lol.

=)

Daddy was taken away as soon as the fry was free swimming. He was a good daddy, ddn't eat any of the fry and picked everyone up.
