bi-coloured patches

well when i finally got the chance to do a water change, i discovered that the glass has patches of green and brown all over it... and definitely the diatoms are back since my otto has passed away...

i think its green spot algae. any remedies friends? and i have no clue as to wat the brown stuff is... u know itz not diatom b/c i have that right beside it and it looks nothing alike.
