Cool

Great tank! Try a black background to bring out some of those colors that are getting absorbed by the bright lights.

I think it overall looks great, but that huge tube is VERY distracting, it takes what looks to be pretty natual and ruins the fanstey

Hi,
the substrate is sand with little stones.

The tube is slowly disappearing behind the plants, I think it will last only 3 to 4 days that it doesn't disturb the look of the tank anymore.

I see some Hydrotriche mades its way into your layout (far right side) . You have many difficult plants growing quite well. Quite an achievement for a first effort. Now develop a mid-ground on the right side, and watch how much bigger the tank will look.

Personally I thought the colour scheme looked fantastic prior to the addition of the "grass", the fish and plants were offset gorgeously with each other and the white sand substrate... The pinkish and blues worked well

Now, it also looked great when it first started and had a lot of greenery around the back, gorgeous.

It still looks good now, I think it's just missing the 'woah' factor it had before... it could just be it's a different type of woah.

Zulu is right on the money there. Not all tanks benefit from foreground carpets. The white sand was an excellent contrast.
