I based this on one of my earlier postings over here on this thread.

My big tank had something like what you're dealing with.

Here's what worked for me. (I don't know if this will work for you)
  1. I removed the carbon from my filter.
  2. Treat daily with Mardel Maracyn-Oxy and Maracyn-Two* for five days.
  3. Massive water change everyday (50% changes)
  4. install a new carbon element for the filter, after treatment.
  5. (optional): added one full dose of Dr Tim's One and Only to help restore any lost good bacteria).

* the first day of treatment I does of one full dose of Maracyn-Two in the morning and one full dose at night. The first day gets a double dose.

act quickly and good luck.

Maracyn-Oxy for common bacterial, fungal and viral infections
Maracyn-Two for Prevents secondary bacterial infections and treats sick fish that will not eat

Cheers for the help guys as recommended by my LFS Iv treated my tank with Blue Planet Multi Cure. Now my hole tank looks like a massive green algae bloom from the dye. Iv half dosed in account for my Kuhli loaches. Here's to hoping they all pull through.
