My electronic skills are surely lacking because I find the info a bit hard to find/see/understand

I will most likely try a simple cold white light cannon first to see if itīs enough. If not Iīll install this lumia chip.

Can you drive the entire chip using just one 100w driver sacrificing dimmabilaty?

Each channel seems to have a different current requirement so I would say no. Just get ldd drivers its easier

Agreed BUT you could run w/ only 3 drivers.. putting the 2 like channels in parallel and use a 1400mA driver @36V

Channel 2 - Cool White 6500K (base white spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 4 - Cool White 6500K (base white spectrum) (36V @700mA)

Channel 1 - Warm White 3200K (growth spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)
Channel 5 - Warm White 3200K (growth spectrum) (36V @ 700mA)

Channel 3 - Deep Red / Royal Blue (enhanced growth and color) (33V @ 700mA)

Unfortunatly that may be a bit hard to find and/or cost more than 2 little LDD's @ 700mA

You could try a 1000mA driver and under powering those 2 (now combined) channels..

you could try the 1000mA LDD and see how bright it is.. Technically LEDs are more efficient under-driven anyways..

Not sure why 1000mA is the magic number for the cheap little guys..???
