T5HO Choices

Hi everyone,
I currently run a high co2 high light high fertz tank but switching over to a 120 4x2x2 tank soon.

I just got a new tek 8 bulb fixture and wondering what people's preferences for bulb choices are.

My lfs only carries coralife or Giesemann bulbs and I normally run 1/2 aquaflora and 1/2 midday.
But I've been doing some research on the lagoon blue,
any experiences with this? I searched on this forum and there was only a few threads on this.

or any combination of coralife or Giesemann bulbs you'd use in a 8 bulb fixture?

thx
Ray

i've not used their lagoon blue, but i used to run 4x midday and 2x aquablue+ over my tank with wonderful results. and boy did the cardinal's pop.

i ran them in the following layout for nice visual balance

midday
aquablue+
midday
midday
aquablue+
midday

it runs about 11000k as its true spectrum. Just enough blue so you know its blue, but not offensive blue. Pleanty of white in there and it crisps really nicely next to the middays.

I have been wondering about Lagoon Blue as well. From the charts it has peaks in the cyan, green, and yellow range. I am doing a quad t5ho and was thinking 2x 6400K, 1 aquaflora, and 1 lagoon blue. Wondering if aquablue+ would make it too blue.

Lagoon Blue

Aquablue+
