I beat a 8 year old that did that. He still cannot sit down, he's 17 years old now.

It looks like we have a location and a set date for our next meeting.

When: October 5th, 2011

Where: Roundtable Pizza
4680 Natomas Blvd # 170, Sacramento, CA
916-928-2222

Guest speaker will be none other than Tom Barr himself. He has a good presentation on CO2 as well as some free goodies (filters, powerheads) for members attending their 1st meeting.

I have some RCS I could bring as well as some plants (mine are not as nice as Tom's and other members).

I look forward to seeing everyone there.

Ahh... pity I don't think I can make it during the week. The 5th is a Wednesday and its pretty busy for me, what time of day is the meeting planned for? Do you guys ever meet on the weekends? Saturday/Sunday are usually the best days for me.

Also, does anyone live near downtown Sacramento?

Ill bring some plants I have hanging in my spare tank. Starugene, moss,

If requested, I have 2 flying fox's that drives my other fish crazy. If someone requests them I can bring it and they can have it. Im down to give it away unless you have something Id like =) ahah.

I will SO be there! With the other half in tow so he can see that I'm not kidding when I tell him this is really usually a "guy hobby", LOL! (plus I'm hoping it helps him get into the hobby when he sees how much fun it can be)
