To all the crypt gurus here

I was never big into crypts, so I am a little unfamiliar with some of the newer varieties such as nurii, ideii, etc.

I am looking for a species of crypts that forms a nice rosette and stays rather small. I am looking for leaves in the 10-15 cm length range. Color scheme, I am looking for darker green/brown/red tones. Any help would be appreciated!

I'd like the plants to rather stay in a rosette/bundle, than spread out like crypt parva does for example. Any other, equivalent species would work too.

C. petchii and C. lutea might work. Also, check this thread out:

Crypt Nevillii, crypt petchi pink, Crypt petchi, There are some variants of nurii that stay smaller, and by smaller I mean not the size of a wendtii so like in the 3-4" range. Thats about it as far as small crypts go.

Crypt lutea gets larger. I have some 4 inches+

Yeah man Eco should be fine. Just add some root tabs or frozen sifted mud underneath it. Crypts are heavy root feeders and need more nutrients than the average plant. Good luck!
