just go to your local rockyard. Ive been using black basalt and although 90% of the pieces are lame. you can find scape worthy rocks

You can get basalt pillars of different sizes here at least, they can be spendy but they are awesome.

yeah, I was too... you can Hit up Daveguitarfish. hes a friend of mine that lives close to a volcano in utah and they really look like dragonstone. but black
