Which type of algae and how to get rid of it?

I've had algae pretty much since I started the tank about 5 months ago. I planted it a couple of months ago and have a good amount of algae on the plants and since my otos died on the glass (I have had terrible luck with those fish). Which type of algae is this and what can I do to remedy the situation? And which fish would eat this type of algae other than otos? I have a 29g tank with a 55w light and I have a DIY CO2 that probably doesn't work too well and I dose KNO3, KH2PO4, a GH booster, as well as a trace mix. Here are some pics

SAE's are great at snacking on hair type algae. Just make sure you get true SAE's and not a flying foxes.
