Fish Disease?


Hi To Anyone Who Could Help.i Have A New German Blue Ram I Brought Home From Petco Last Week.it Is A Jeuvinal Does Not Show As Much Color As My Adult Blue Rams.anyways On The Lower Fin I Believe Is Called The Dorsal Fin It Has A White Cotton Substance About 1mm Big 1/24th Of A Inch.i Have Been Searching Disease Type .should I Seperate For Treatment Or Can All Fish And Invertabrea Use A Dose Of Medicine.

The dorsal fin is at the fish's back. You're referring to anal fin I think.
Try to show us the picture. Proper diagnosis is best done before medicating. You'll end up with more troubles if you use the wrong treatment. I'd recommend isolation and monitor it closely. Meanwhile, try to obtain a close-up pic of its fins.

dorsal on the back right.i need a anatomy lesson on fish.by the way i did nothing for the fish and the tiny white spot went away.yeah

You need to ensure your fish are not stressed or risk getting the ich to infest your fish. Ich will return if one of your fish becomes stressed. They will often target fish with low immune system which is often caused by stress.
