Pellia? Subwassertang? Alien algae? I noticed I have little bits of this in every tank. Must be slow growing, there have only been bits here or there that are gradually getting a teensy bit larger.

Looks like Pellia.

Suesswassertang is rare, I doubt any hitchhiked, but it does look kind of crispy like suesswassertang.

Pellia for sure. I have a 20"x12" patch that is 4 inches thick at some points covering an entire 10g bottom. Cherries are very happy

Pelia.

If you have seen the plant up close you'd find it doesn't look like Subwassertang at all.

.....quickly and invasively

Pieces break off and you'll find it a week later all over the tank.

pellia is worse than java moss in my nano i had a small clump on driftwwod and in a week it tripled its size and was growing all through the carpet i would reccomend some way to keep it in a small area where you want it and when trimming take it outof the tank like ricca.
