CO2 reactor
i have a wet/dry eheim 2229. ive heard of running co2 into the air intake and using the canister as a reactor but im not sure how to do it. when i unplug the pump to feed water runs back out of the intake and it stayes half full until i turn the pump back on.

as long as your intake is below water line, it should just stop as the cainster is supposed to have a air tie seal from back siphoning. Regards, jC.

Wouldn't the wet/dry action of the canister just degas most of your CO2? People running the canister as a reactor are not using wet/dry models.
