Looking for CO2

Does anyone have an unused CO2 system they aren't using? Looking for specifically regulator and tank.

bought it but never use it because i was scared it might explode haha. 1 is a paintball tank with shutoff valve and the big one got a "AQUATEK CO2 Regulator with Integrated Solenoid".

both never used or filled with co2. there might scratches on the connector because i used a wrench to tighten it. the shutoff valve for the paintball tank was bought from one of the seller on this website. both bought it on last july.

If you're going to be using CO2 for many years, you may want to consider an exchange program.
I use CO2 for both my aquarium and my kegorator
I used to get my CO2 cylinders filled by a local fire extinguisher shop. One day they refused to fill it because the hydro test was out of date. They would test it for me but they only did the testing on certain days of the month. PITA.
So, I got on an exchange program with Strange Brew (beer and wine brewing supply shop). It is a little more expensive. You buy a cylinder up front and then pay $20 for exchange (instead of the $14 I used to pay) but you never have to worry about your cylinder expiring or requiring a new test.
It is also a little more convenient. I had to leave the cylinder for a day or two when filling at the fire extinguisher shop. Strange Brew is a 2 minute exchange so I'm never without CO2.

That's already what I do with local airgas. I give them my empty one and they give me a new filled one. Same deal. Only problem is they are open almost the same times as regular business hours, and not on the weekends. Since I work 8-4 that's very difficult to get it filled. Always have to find the right time. But generally yes, I exchange the tank.

The other issue is I have a 5lb and 10lb tank in MI empty at my parent's house, but have no good way of getting that here since I can't take it on an airplane, and I won't be driving the distance anytime soon.

You can also try stores that are for DIY beer brewing. Out here in Natick I do a tank exchange with Barleycorn Craft & Brew in Natick center. It's a slightly pricier than through AirGas but its hours are more convenient. You can also try a paintball store. Some paintball stores will actually fill your tank instead of exchange it, which is a nice plus. I personally didn't like the idea of exchanging my nice brand new shiny aluminum CO2 tank for a beat up steel one.

p.s. To save a few, I would order a 5lb tank through Amazon. It'll be 30-50% less than it would cost through a local supplier, especially if you have a Prime membership.
