Lighting for an ADA 60cm tank?
This is the tank I've ordered: ADA 60cm Cube Garden trimless tank
I'm trying to figure out what kind of lighting to get for this tank. I don't want anything fancy, it should look decent and do a good job. This is a tank that will be used for breeding CRS and not growing plants as a primary point. I will still have plants, but not that many. I'd like 1.5-2 WPG, somewhere above 1WPG without going too crazy. If I get less than 1.5WPG, I'll end up leaving it on for a longer time. Anyway, any advice is appreciated. One place I'm confused is that 60cm is 23.62 inches - I've seen a JBJ light with tiny fans that I imagine are whiny and loud, with a size of 24" - would that work? If it can rest on top of the aquarium, that is preferred, so that I don't have to hang it by creating some kind of support. Thanks! |

Would this work fine? Compact Fluorescent Aquarium Lighting: Coralife Aqualight Single Compact Fluorescent Strip Lights
Again, I'm confused about CM to inches conversion. I don't know how these lights are setup and so I don't know if it will adjust to accomodate smaller changes. Any ideas? |
