I checked on the Clippard web site and they have the mnv-4k2 needle valve listed for $9.90. The problem is, with handling ($10.00) and shipping the total price is going to be over $23.00. Now, I have a slight problem with paying more for shipping and handling than what the item costs. I called our local Clippard distributor but they didn't carry them and for some weird reason didn't want to order 50, which is how many they would have to order in order for me to have one. Can anyone help me find one of these needle valves for a more reasonable price?

I can't believe your local distributor doesn't have them. I have a Clippard distributor a couple miles from my house and they always have them.

Your best bet is to go to www.aquabotanic.com and get one there. They are $18 but come with the 10-32 to 1/8" adapter you are most likely going to need.

YOu might check the clippard site and see if there is another clippard distributor in another city not too far away.

I got mine from Florida Driftwood and it also came with the fitting on it already.

If your local Clippard Distributor doesn't have the valve in stock, I definitely think it's a better idea to give aquatic retailers your business rather than paying $23 straight from the factory. The only reason Clippard charges so much is because it is a nuisance to have to fill such small orders.
