tank build went wrong- suggestions?

So i had a miscommunication with my acrylic guy and he made me an acrylic tank that was 30 inches long by 11 tall and wide give or take. He thought i was doing a partial fill with water so used to thin an acrylic. So any thoughts what i can do with tis tank that involves only a third of water?

Talk to Hydrophyte on here from Riparium Supply (sponsor subforum). He'll hook you up with some good plants and supplies. He also has a lot of good journals for his tanks to get ideas/inspiration from.

how about returning the tank because the builder assumed when he should have verified before building? You sound pretty calm about it all, I would be rather pissed lol

Why not put a top on it with bracing and use it for a tank? How thin is it?

A paludarium would be nice, and definitely ask about a bottom brace

Is it thinner than 1/4"? That's all you would need if you braced it.

refund or rebuild. I buy stuff for a living. Don't take a mistake just because you're an individual. If you told him you wanted a partial fill or thinner acrylic, it's on you. Otherwise, he should have verified before construction.
