fish stores near Mall of America

Hello, I'm going to the Mall of America this weekend. Just wondering if there are any local fish stores that are worth checking out. Thanks for the help!

World of Fish is the only decent one I know of. Sometimes their prices are good, sometimes average, sometimes way over the top. It really depends, so it's good to know the going rate of things before you head in there. I've got HC for cheaper than anybody sells on here, but then I've seen $4 CRS selling for $15. It's probably only 5-10 minutes from MOA.

The do have a pretty big selection of fish, and depending on the day, they can have a decent plant selection.

Tropiquatics isn't all that close, but they have great prices and a fabulous selection. If you go to one store, go there.

Have they expanded at all? I went in there once last fall and they had plenty of fish, but almost no plants.

Their plants aren't great yet, but it's because they're working with a supplier right now. They do get in some large loads occasionally, but they sell out fast.

Are they on any sort of schedule? WoF get's their plants every other Friday, so you can time it to get dibs.

Thanks for the recommendations. I was really surprised how many tanks were in world of fish. Bought some fish and plants from tropiquatics.

After reading this thread me and a buddy went over to Tropiquatics today. All I can say is wow, after so many terrible dirty lfs's... that one is truly the best shop I have been to yet. Off to check out WOF on Wednesday.

Are there any more good shops in the metro area?
