Nerite snails

What kind are in your tank? Which ones are the most successful? Of course I like the colorful, horns, etc, but are they hardy once settled in tank? And last..where do you get them? No lfs within 55 miles of me so I need online sources that you have had good success with. Thanks.

Horned Nerites are my favorite, as they tend to be a bit smaller. All varieties of them are hardy, in my experience.

Favorite source is Rachel/msjinkzd. Check her Sponsor section Invertebrates by Msjinkzd.

I have horned nerites in my shrimp tank as well. I love them, but the only things I don't like are that myne seem to be nocturnal, and they can't breed in freshwater.
