My 1st Berried Shrimp w/Pics!!!

Wahoo!!! Got my very 1st berried shrimp!!!

I honestly wasn't expecting eggs so soon. I got them only a few weeks ago as shrimplets. The one carrying the eggs is maybe barely an inch long, if that.

I am beyond thrilled, very excited... and wanted to share with you all!

Quick question though...
They were sold to me as Fire Painted Reds. This berried one is prolly the reddest I have. So I'm thinking these are cherry shrimp. You guys agree, or will she still color up more as she continues to grow?

(Taken with my phone, so sorry for any bad quality)

Very neat thread, thanks for posting that TankYouVeryMuch (also adore your username, hehe).

Looks like I have Sakura Grade based on that. I have a lot of clear looking ones, a few as red as the girl pictured above and some that prolly would be considered just Cherry Grade. Though a lot are still 1/2 or under so keeping my fingers crossed they do some more coloring up.

I think that's the difference between RCS's and PFR's... just the color. So basically different grades just like they said in that thread. I;m still new to shrimp myself, so I may be wrong here.

I was hoping mine would end up that red XDxd

The legs of the PFR would have to be solid red as well.

Yep, discovered that with some more reading. Oh wells, not PFR's, but pretty none the less!

The eggs are already noticibly darker, I am starting to see the tiny shrimplets growing inside. Very cool!
