Do I need to rescape already?

I was thinking about getting some ideas to move my driftwood to lay more on the left side, rather than having most of that one piece laying across the tank as shown. I could move my plants up a little further so they aren't squished against the glass in the back and can also get more light. The only question I would have would be what do you guys do about existing root tabs during a simple rescape

Good idea, or any other ideas? Or should I leave it alone?

I'm not sure about the root tabs but I'm going to re scape my55 when I get these new plants in this week.

But about the wood. It looks like you have some fern in there. You could always angle the long part upwards andbracethe wood with a rock under it so it looks like a piece of wood has sunk in the left side and is shooting up towards the middle. And maybe glue or tie the fern on the half way mark of the long branch so it fills in and grows upwards,

That would look cool, I'll think about that, thanks! The java fern grows super slow though, not sure why

I would lift the wood so it's going into the air from the center to the back corner or something, with that thicker bit down. You know, so it's more noticeable. I didn't see it at first.
As for root tabs, leave them where they are and add a new one to where the plant[s] will go. Roots will eventually find the others.

I think I got a nitrate spike from too many root tabs already though : ( as soon as I added Osmocote plus tabs, my nitrates have been way higher than usual, so can't add any more.

First try. Some plants I'm going to try to sell here, and I will replace with others, so try to ignore some random plant placement for now lol. But did make a big difference in the background, much more room for my plants.
