Most of that stuff you'd have to give yourself. I mean, tell Santa you want a nitrate test kit and a pH meter, and he's gonna shake his head wondering what I am talking about...

I am getting a second XP3!!!

Santa brought me a bottle of CO2, regulator and diffusor. I am geeked to set this thing up. Bottle doesn't fit in my stand though (15lbs). Now I just have to hunt down the info on pressures etc.

I will be in the chat tonight if anyone wants to help me out.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I trimmed back a lot of anacharis, and poor quality leaves on the other plants. Fishies have a lot more room to swim now.

Getting close to filling the 20g long, so that could be considered a "present". Have to heat up & take the bend out of some 3/4" vinyl tubing I used for a custom intake & "spraybar" for a Fluval 104.

My fish got a new piece of driftwood in the tank. I also got $200 that I'm spending on a new lighting system and an eheim 2213. With what's left over, I'll get some plants and maybe a stand for the aquarium so I can move it into the living room

My Dad gave me some bucks so I replaced the two shoplighs with a bio-lux and a extra day-hi-glow tube...

And I got myself some Nutrafin Plant Gro and Kent Pro-Plant

I am very impressed by the Tetra florapride (except for the price) my previously white new leaves are comming in green now... and brown algae dissapeared like a ghost.
Still got some new neaves with red veins any idea what that indicates?

I got a second Kent scraper and a 100 ft Pyton along with the 24 inch extension tube. I will be using them today on all my tanks!

does the python have some mechanism to get it going?

I use a 25 foot piece of hose I bought, and boy does it require sucking to get it started...

I don't think so. I believe it is gravity what makes it go once started. You may wanna add a pump to yours

It's the pump that makes it work.. it also creates a vacuum so it draws the water out. All it is a waterbed fill/drain kit with a hose connected to it and some fancy logos. I am sure you can buy one out your way and have you very own mock-python.

I got a bunch of books from bookcloseouts.com including several titles on discus and Aquarium Plant Paradise and I got a GFI/surge protector/power strip for one of the tanks that is not on a GFI.
