This is my first "big" tank, and I chose to name it "Tenshi no Kawa" because that means Angel's River in Japanese. So, as you may have guessed, I will have an Angelfish as the centerpiece fish. Anyway, here are the tank specs:
Lighting: Zoo Med 30" T5HO fixture with 2x 24w 6500k bulbs
Photoperiod: Split photoperiod of 8 hours total
CO2: Excel for now, I will get some DIY CO2 brewing later.
Substrate: Flourite capped with ADA Amazonia ('cause I'm a cheapskate )
Ferts: Still trying to figure this out. I will dose flourish comp 2x a week for sure, but I don't know how many times per week I will dose Fe + K.
Filtration: Aquaclear 50 + Hagen Elite Mini (for CO2 diffusion)
Hardscape: Yamaya stones + Random branches I found around my house.
Flora:
- A crapton of Staurogyne repens from Petsmart
- Downoi (also from Petsmart, but not sure it will survive)
- DHG (Petsmart)
-Crypt Wendtii
-A few pieces of M. crenata that hadn't died from my mishap. Not sure those will survive either.
Fauna:
-1x Angelfish (small)
-8x Neon Tetras (I know, I know, Angels will eat Neons, but I have nowhere to put them. I'll think of something).
-1x Pygmy Cory (lone survivor, in for the same reason as Neons)
-5x Flame Tetra
-2x Diamond Tetra
FTS:
P.S. Sorry about the glare.
Thanks for looking.
