Yeah, that sure does look like ich alright. Raise the temp to about 86 very slowly.. 2 degrees increase every few hours. After that, purchase some ich attack by kordon and use when the ich appears to have gone through it's life cycle and drop off of the fish, and then start treating immediately every day and follow the water change instructions on the bottle. This method worked for me. Best of luck.

^^ yup, use ich meds. Don't use salt for cories.

Ooops. I totally used higher temp and salt when my cardinals got Ich. Did I do any long term damage to my Cories? They all seemed fine, did I fry their kidneys or something? :S

Cories are more sensitive to salt from what I remember. It'll stress them out.

Or if you are only using a carbon insert packet, cut the packet open and dump the carbon out. Then put the empty packet back in after swishing it in a bucket of tank water. Do not use tap water. Good luck with healing your fish.

yea i removed it from one filter now they both have the micron cartridge in them
