tropic isle
So I went here last Saturday and it was crazy busy. Very big fish selection with over five isles of tanks. I skipped all the saltwater stuff because there was too many people slammed in the 3 foot wide isles saying "look its nemo". So I set off looking for the freshwater shrimp and found nothing. When I found a kid with 5 customers around him and his hands in a tank scooping someones new nemo up, I just figured this 15 year old must work here, i asked if they had fw shrimp and he said yes on the first idle. After searching that isle for 10 mins I found 4 tanks on the bottom level under 2 rows of empty tanks with some crazy over priced shrimp in them. So after 5 mins down on my hands and knees looking to see if they had any orange bees in the tank, the kid comes up and tells me "ya, we haven't had any bees in there for over a month" I just said "Ya, I would have known that 10 mins ago if I could actually see in the tank. Its literally on the floor." He said "well we have plenty of cherries, fire reds, and snowballs." " there's no way I'm paying 3 bucks for a cherrie, and 7 bucks for a friggin snowball" so I just grabbed an amano and some madagasgar ace plant (which wasn't too over priced for a rare plant) and was greeted by, well I guess this is one of the people who you guys are saying hated their lives, the pink haired chick at the front counter. Just give that chick your money and get out of there. lesve
