Any suggestions for a tall red background plant?

I am looking to replace a background sagittaria subulata on my 12gl fluval edge (video here <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eNcrOREl0g> because it grows way too fast and keeps shooting out runners all over. I am looking for a red tall plant that would add some color and be easy to maintain. It needs to be small and grow tall up to 12-13 inches (a red tiger lotus for example wouldn't work because it spreads too wide). A slow grower would be appreciated. Any plant experts here that can recommend options? Thanks!

ludwigia "red" aka ludwigia hybrid, sometimes mistaken as ruben..

grows well in low light or in high light, stays red in just about every condition i've ever seen.. doesn't branch too much and leaf size is decent.

Ludwigia red is a good option too, then. You can see it in my 60p journal. Branches a lot, but good color and tall. Alternathera is bushier of you prefer. I can trim some ludwigia if you are needing.
