I have forgotten which Aboreal meant, high or low, but I am pretty sure it means High. The best Aboreal darts are Thumbnails (IMO). This includes: D. Imitators, D. Vent's (forgot the full name). Those are the most common and least expensive. Some more expensive ones are out there as well, like Fantisticas' and Pumilios.

If I was wrong on which Aboreal meant then let me know. Pretty much any of the larger Darts prefer the lower areas: Azereus, Tinc's, Leucs, Auratus', Terribilis', etc...

all dart frogs will climb if ou give them the chance, but the easyest arborual ones are Dendrobates pumilio- these guys are about $150 each!
Dendrobates imitator-about $50-$100 each
Dendrobates intermedius- another kind of imitator about $100 each
Dendrobates fantasticus-about $120 each
Dendrobates reticulatus -about $150 each
if you are jest gettign into dart frogs i would stay away form the true arboreals, you can put just about any other dart frog in there and they would do fine, just make shore you put in plenty of epyphitic sp? bormiliads!

Default Arboreal

Arboreal frogs tend to be more of a challenge than terristral frogs. At least when it comes to dendrobates. However if you have a really tall tank and don't mind using cork bark walls on at least one or two sides of it, I can imagine it would be fun to build. Just be careful as I have hear horror stories about one or two getting fried near a light.

There are one or two mantella specisis as well. I prefer terrestrial as I like using water filters to make waterfalls, but I could see having one or two on the small trees.
